Fire Department

The Front of Yonge (FOY) Fire Department is located in Mallorytown at 1491 County Road 2 and services the Front of Yonge Township.  Established in 1957, the department acts as first responders to medical emergencies within the community, as well as addressing smoke and burning concerns.  The FOY Fire Department also participates in many community events and fundraising efforts to promote the safety and wellbeing of residents.  On average, 125 calls are responded to each year by a team of approximately 25 volunteers.

The department is overseen by Chief Greg Halladay.

Fire Services Liaison Committee:

The primary mission of the Fire Services Liaison Committee is to provide guidance and assistance to fire personnel so that they may provide a wide range of programs to protect the lives and property of the inhabitants of the Township. Click HERE to view meeting agendas and minutes.
