Digital Main Street & Digital Service Squads

Digital Main Street is an innovative program designed to help main street small businesses achieve digital transformation. The program is built around an online learning platform, structured training programs, grants and Digital Service Squads teams of street-level experts that help main street small businesses manage and grow their operations through technology adoption.

The Township of Front of Yonge has partnered with the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville and neighbouring municipalities to offer eligible businesses this opportunity. Over the coming weeks, squads will be reaching out to businesses in the region to see what type of FREE digital assistance they can provide. Helping eligible businesses apply for a $2,500 Digital Transformation Grant will be a top priority.

Funds will assist main street businesses with digital marketing, website redevelopment, software and eligible hardware.

The deadline for the Digital Transformation Grant is November 30th.

Eligibility criteria includes:

  • A business owner with less than 10 full-time employees (or less than 25 employees for a restaurant)
  • Businesses located in a storefront/bricks and mortar building on a main street
  • A business paying commercial property taxes
